Petawawa, ON – Attention Petawawa residents: Town staff and contractors continue to work toward resolving the watermain break at the intersection of Petawawa Boulevard and Bert Street. Repairs are expected to continue into the evening and overnight. Residents near the repair area can expect to hear some noise associated with the construction equipment.
There is no boil water advisory at this time. Businesses and properties in the affected area will receive notice from Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) staff should circumstances change.
There is no risk of flooding private properties and measures are being taken to minimize the risk of ice buildup on Petawawa Boulevard and Bert Street.
Traffic delays can be expected. Please use alternate routes when possible. Detour signage is posted.
