Watermain Break Update– Intersection of Petawawa Boulevard and Bert Street
Petawawa, ON – Attention Petawawa residents: The water break was repaired, and water was restored to all residents and businesses at 2:00 am on January 29, 2026. The Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) advises residents and businesses affected by the water main break to flush their taps with cold water for a minimum of 15 minutes.
There is no boil water advisory at this time. The Town has contacted the Renfrew County District Health Unit and advised that the Town water distribution system has returned to normal operation.
Crews are working to finish road repairs to Petawawa Boulevard (County Road #51) and road closures will be removed as soon as the County of Renfrew inspects the roadway and approves opening to regular traffic.
The Town of Petawawa Public Works Department and OCWA staff greatly appreciates your patience during this emergency.
