Following the close of Procurement on March 30, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. and subsequent review of proposals received, the Town of Petawawa awarded RFP PW-07-2026, for the Municipal Grounds & Gardens Services, to Precision Lawn and Garden in the amount of $33,947.89 plus HST for year 1 of the 3 year contract.
Background
The RFP was issued on March 9, 2026 and advertised on the Town’s website, Facebook, and Instagram pages. Nine (9) firms requested proposal packages and two (2) firms submitted a complete proposal package on the closing date of March 30, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.
Proposals  Received
Proposals were evaluated by a team of Town staff and scored points on multiple criteria. The proposals scored as follows:
Precision Lawn and Garden – 810/1000
Elite Property Care – 710/1000
Financial Implication
This contract was budgeted for in the approved 2026 budget.
For labour, equipment and materials, for the provision of Grounds & Gardens Maintenance Services at defined locations within the Town of Petawawa for 2026 – 2028.
Sealed tenders, on the forms provided by the Town of Petawawa and clearly marked as to the contents including tender reference number, will be received by the Town of Petawawa until:
10:00 a.m., local time, on Monday, March 30, 2026
