Recommendation:
That Council approves the award of Tender PW-04-2024, Concrete Works, to the lowest bidder being Greenwood Paving (Pembroke) Ltd. in the amount of $176,699.20 plus HST.
Discussion:
The tender was prepared and advertised in a local paper and on our website. Ten (10) firms requested tender packages and three (3) firms submitted complete tender packages on the closing date of March 19, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.
Contractor and Tender Price (excluding HST):
Bonnechere Excavating Inc. - $183,850.00
Greenwood Paving (Pembroke) Ltd. - $176,699.20
Turcotte Contracting - $237,938.75
Financial Implication:
The funding for this tender was included in the 2024 budget.
