The Town of Petawawa is currently seeking responsible, friendly staff to operate food services in the Civic Centre canteen, hall and Kinhut, as well as operating the Civic Centre mini putt.
Description of Position:
- Operate equipment and prepare food, ensure customers are served promptly and politely
- Responsible for cleanliness of the Canteen/Kinhut and its equipment and tables in the eating area
- Perform daily inventory tasks and ensure stock is refilled; responsible for daily register deposits
- Ensure adherence to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency Guidelines
- Report any safety concerns, vandalism or required maintenance
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of hot food preparation
- Ability to work well with the public
- Requires physical effort (i.e. carrying a case of pop)
- Trustworthy and works well in a team environment
Hours of Work:
- 20-30 hours per week, evenings and weekends required
- Potential to stay on during the school year at reduced hours
Rate of Pay: $17.20 per hour.
