Petawawa Seniors Advisory Committee

The Town of Petawawa is proud to introduce the Petawawa Seniors Advisory Committee, a dedicated group formed to provide valuable advice and recommendations to the Council on enhancing recreation programming opportunities for seniors. This committee will play a crucial role in ensuring that the diverse senior population within our community is well-served through inclusive, engaging programs.

Comprised of public members aged 50+ and representatives from the Council, the committee will represent a broad cross-section of our senior community. Together, they will work towards developing diverse recreation programs, fostering greater awareness of the services available at the seniors active living centre, and identifying new opportunities for social engagement. By collaborating with community groups and facilitators, the committee aims to expand the range of activities available to seniors, ensuring that Petawawa remains a vibrant and welcoming place for all.
