Petawawa is committed to fostering an inclusive and accessible community for all residents and visitors. The Town recognizes the importance of removing barriers and ensuring equal access to facilities, programs, and services. Through proactive planning and continuous improvements, Petawawa strives to create an environment where individuals of all abilities can fully participate in daily life.
The Petawawa Accessibility Advisory Committee (PAAC) plays a key role in this effort, providing guidance to Council on accessibility-related matters. Comprised of local residents with disabilities and their advocates, the committee works to enhance the town’s infrastructure, policies, and services. By embracing universal design and promoting inclusivity, Petawawa continues to advance its vision of a community that is accessible to everyone.
