Blue Box Transition
As of March 28, 2025 the Town's Blue Box Program (paper/cardboard/glass/container recyclables) for residential properties will be managed by Circular Materials, the administrator of the common collection system and a national not-for-profit organization that is committed to building an efficient and effective recycling system in Ontario. Circular Materials has contracted Miller Waste to provide collection for residential recyclable materials in the Town of Petawawa. Beginning March 28, 2025 any concerns regarding missed collection for recyclable materials are to be directed to Miller Waste at:

The Town of Petawawa will continue to be responsible for residential garbage and organic (green bin) recycling. Concerns regarding residential garbage pick-up or green bin collection should be directed as follows:

If you own a commercial property that participates in the Town's waste management program (blue bin, yellow bin, garbage, green bin), the Town of Petawawa is still responsible for providing this service. Concerns should be directed as follows:
