Wednesday, February 4th, 2026
Cabin Fever Day #1 - Wednesday
10:00am: Winter Wonderland Sensory – hosted at the Petawawa Civic CentreÂ
- Get your hands cold, paint with snow, and stimulate your senses. Sensory activities encourage toddlers to explore, play, and create.
10:00am – 4:00pm:Â Crokicurl Drop In – hosted at the Petawawa Civic Centre
- Come try this unique Canadian winter sport that combines elements of curling and the board game Crokinole! Use your Library card to borrow curling stones from the library!
10:30am: Try It: Scottish Dancing – hosted at the Silver Threads Centre
- Swing by Silver Threads to try out the vibrant tradition of Scottish Dancing. As a special Cabin Fever treat this activity is open to all ages.
10:30am: StrongerU Fitness – hosted at the Silver Threads Centre
- This senior Fitness offers fun engaging cardio and strength-training classes tailored for seniors to boost physical and mental well-being.
12:00pm – 1:00pm: Free Family Skate – hosted at the Petawawa Civic Centre
- Glide, spin, and laugh with friends and family at this free skate, brought to you by Home Front Dental.
5:00pm – 7:00pm: Family Trivia Night – hosted at the Petawawa Civic Centre
- Sign up your family for a fun, kid-friendly trivia night that’s perfect for all ages, proudly brought to you by Hyska’s YIG. Register through DaySmart.

Cabin Fever Day #2 - Thursday
10:00am – 4:00pm:Â Crokicurl Drop In – hosted at the Petawawa Civic Centre
- Come try this unique Canadian winter sport that combines elements of curling and the board game Crokinole! Use your Library card to borrow curling stones from the library!
6:00pm: Kids Virtual Bingo – sponsored by the Petawawa Civitan Club
- Join our kids virtual bingo for a chance to win great prizes from the comfort of home! Brought to you by the Petawawa Civitan Club.
6:00pm – 9:00pm: 50+ Dance Night – hosted at the Silver Threads Centre
- Shake off the winter chill and dance the night away. Just $10 for an evening of fun, music and community. Tickets at Silver Threads.

9:00am: Legion Breakfast – hosted at the Petawawa Legion

10:00am – 4:00pm:Â Crokicurl Drop In – hosted at the Petawawa Civic Centre
- Come try this unique Canadian winter sport that combines elements of curling and the board game Crokinole! Use your Library card to borrow curling stones from the library!
12:00pm – 3:00pm: Mini Tee Pee Making:Â – hosted at the Petawawa Civic Centre
- Create your own mini tee pee using patterned fabrics, wooden sticks, feathers, beads, and a cork base. This activity includes a short discussion on the cultural importance of tee pees to Indigenous Peoples. Led by Betty Ashpanaquestcum & Susan Young
1:00pm: Pool Tournament – hosted at the BLVD Pub, Bar & Grill
- Rack ’em up and join The BLVD’s pool tournament for door prizes, placement prizes, and plenty of friendly competition! $10 entry fee, email amandaattheblvd@gmail.com to register.
3:00pm: Paint & Pint – hosted at Dog House Brewing Company

1:00pm – 2:00pm: Free Family Skate – hosted at the Petawawa Civic Centre
- Glide, spin, and laugh at this free skate, brought to you by Chrissie McMillan of Remax.
5:30pm: Civitan Bingo – hosted upstairs at the Petawawa Civic Centre
- Doors open at 5:30, flash games start at 6:30 and games start at 7:00, supporting Petawawa Civitan Club programs.
