The Town of Petawawa invites residents and businesses to attend the in-person sessions regarding public transportation.
Residents can attend the in-person engagement session on Wednesday, February 4th, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Petawawa Public Library (Rotary Room) at 16 Civic Centre Road.
Businesses are invited to attend an in-person engagement session on Thursday, February 5th, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Petawawa Town Hall, located at 1111 Victoria Street.

The Town of Petawawa is growing and the needs of our residents are changing. We have seniors looking for more independence, young people that need access to jobs and activities, and residents that need to travel to both local and neighbouring communities.
Implementing a public transit system is an exciting opportunity to provide more choices for getting around Town. A transit system could improve access to services, activities, and employment while helping to reduce traffic congestion.
This project will build on transit services that already operate in our community. Services that currently operate in our community include:
Building on the services that are already available will improve these services and help drive Petawawa’s transit system in a sustainable, long term direction.
Investing in transit can help improve connectivity and access and reduce traffic congestion, providing both residents and visitors new options to safely, and affordably get around Town.
