In partnership with the Petawawa Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Advisory Committee, the Garrison Petawawa Military Museum is proud to host two powerful exhibitions from the Legacy of Hope Foundation. These exhibitions are dedicated to educating the public on the history and intergenerational impacts of Canada's Residential School System and the Sixties Scoop. A National Crime: Canada’s Indian Residential School and Youth on Reconciliation: Imagine a Canada offer a profound, museum-like experience that includes first-hand Indigenous testimonies and artistic expressions from youth across Canada.

Join us for this journey of healing and understanding, running from August 16 to September 5, open daily from 11 AM to 4 PM. Admission is free. A special ceremony is planned for August 24th at noon.
