Petawawa Civic Centre Days returns this June, bringing four days of vibrant community celebration to the heart of Petawawa. The Civic Centre will come alive with a dynamic lineup of activities, entertainment, and family-friendly experiences, creating a welcoming hub for residents and visitors alike.

Civic Centre Days - Thursday

9:15am: Try It Essentrics – at the Silver Threads Community Centre

This virtual workout class considers the changing needs of your body as you age – from strength and posture to mobility and flexibility for community members 50+. FREE

 10:00am-3:00pm: ATV Ride – starting at the Petawawa Visitor Info Centre

Head out with the RCATV Club on a ride that will take you to Mallard Lake for a lunch rest (bring your favourite lunch and a chair). The group will travel on paved and gravel roads, former rail corridors and rugged trails. Click here to register. FREE (Registration Required)

 
1:00pm: 50+ Speed Puzzle Competition – hosted at the Silver Threads Community Centre
 
Teams of two will race to complete identical jigsaw puzzles. The first team to complete their puzzle will win a prize. $5 a team. Click here to register on DaySmart.
 
5:00pm-10:00pm: Midway – at the Civic Centre.
 
All Canadian Entertainment Midway is coming to the Petawawa Civic Centre! Admission is $25 per person, per timeslot, age 3 and under free – includes unlimited rides!

Civic Centre Days - Friday

11:00am-2:00pm: 1920’s Murder Mystery Lunch – at the Silver Threads Community Centre

  • The party is roaring… until it isn’t. Step into 1923 for a night of jazz, glamour, and intrigue when a guest is found dead at a lavish mansion party. Can you crack the case? Characters will be assigned once registration is full. No acting experience needed! Click here to register on DaySmart.
4:00pm-10:00pm: Midway – at the Civic Centre.

5:00pm-8:00pm: Pride Eventat the Civic Centre Kin Hut/Container Market
  • Wear your rainbow best to Petawawa’s 4th Annual Pride celebration with crafts, music, colouring, balloon animals, concessions, and a selfie booth! Take a moment to celebrate with live music and make your mark on our community art project. FREE
 
6:00pm-8:00pm: FREE Mini-Puttat the Civic Centre mini-putt course
  • Celebrate Pride with a fun-filled and inclusive night of mini putt! Join us for a colorful and exciting event that embraces diversity, equality, and community spirit.
 
6:00pm: Petawawa Sports & Entertainment Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony – at Petawawa Civic Centre Hall 
  • Join us as we proudly honour Alyson Ackman, Hec Clouthier Jr., Glenn Douglas, and Tom Green. This special evening celebrates their remarkable achievements and lasting contributions to sport, entertainment, and the Petawawa community. Tickets $5 and sold on-site. 
 
Sunset (9:00pm): Movie Under the Stars: ‘The Zookeeper’ – at Centennial Park
  • Join us for Movie Under the Stars with Animals, featuring a fun, family‑friendly animal movie on the big screen while accompanied by some furry friends! FREE

Civic Centre Days - Saturday

8:15am & 10:15am: BMX Bike Skills with Steve Moreau – at Construction Yard Bike Park

  • Fun, skill-building bike camps covering safety, basic maintenance, and riding techniques. Participants must already be able to ride and be comfortable on dirt terrain. 8:15am ages 4-6 & 10:15am ages 7-9. FREE. Click here to register on DaySmart.

9:00am-6:00pm: Beginner/Intermediate Pickleball Tournament (16+) – at Petawawa Civic Centre

  • Join us for a fun, beginner‑to‑intermediate pickleball tournament open to ages 16+, $10 per player, spaces limited – register early! Registration and info at bbrown@nrtco.net

10:00am-12:00pm: Mindfulness Forest Retreatat Centennial Park

  • This two-hour forest retreat will be an interactive and experiential event to engage your senses.

10:00am-3:00pm: Car Show – at Petawawa Civic Centre

  • Classic, custom, and modern vehicles on display for auto enthusiasts of all ages to enjoy.

11:00am-4:00pm or 5:00pm-10:00pm: Midway at the Petawawa Civic Centre

  • All Canadian Entertainment Midway at the Civic Centre. Admission is $25 per person, per timeslot, age 3 and under free – includes unlimited rides!

3:00pm-6:00pm: Kids Corner  – at the Petawawa Civic Centre

  • Treat your children to fun with our bouncy castles, face painter, and petting zoo. FREE.

3:00pm-11:00pm: Craft Beer Festival – at the Petawawa Civic Centre

  • Great energetic music and great local beer, spirits, and ciders! Samples are starting at $2 each and food will be for sale on site. Music line-up: 3:00pm May Davis, 5:00pm Custom 300, 7:00pm Timberline Band, 9:00pm The Redhill Valleys. Tickets sold on-site. 

Civic Centre Days - Sunday

9:00am-12:00pm: Legion Breakfast – at the Petawawa Legion

  • Start your day right with a delicious and hearty breakfast at the Legion.
 

9:00am-11:45am: Learn to Play Pickleballat the Petawawa Civic Centre

  • Learn the basics of pickleball in a fun, beginner‑friendly session – balls provided, limited paddles available, parent volunteers welcome. Registration and info at bbrown@nrtco.net. 10:15am ages 6-10 & 10:30-11:45 am ages 11-16.

11:00am-5:00pm at the Petawawa Civic Centre

12:00pm-1:00pm: Civitan Kids Bingoat the Civic Centre Hall
 
  • Get ready to shout ‘BINGO!’ at this kids bingo event hosted by the Petawawa Civitan Club. FREE.

 

12:00pm-2:00pm: Sunset Professional Wrestling Show & Kids Fun Zone – at Petawawa Civic Centre

  • Enjoy hard hitting wrestling excitement for fans of all ages, plus a Kids Fun Zone with bouncy castle’s to keep the little ones smiling. FREE.

 

5:30pm: Civitan Bingoat Petawawa Civic Centre

  • Doors open at 5:30pm, flash games start at 6:30 pm. Games begin at 7:00 pm support the Petawawa Civitan Club programs.
