By-law 1452/21

Being a By-law to Amend By-law 257/2003, Being a By-law to Provide for the Regulating of Parking, Standing and Stopping on Highways or Parts of Highways Under the Jurisdiction of the Corporation of the Town of Petawawa and on Private and Municipal Property

Whereas the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Petawawa wishes to amend By-law 257/2003 being a by-law to provide for the regulating of parking, standing and stopping on highways or parts of highways under the jurisdiction of the Corporation of the Town of Petawawa and on private and municipal property;

Now Therefore the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Petawawa enacts as follows:

  1. That Part 6, ENFORCEMENT AND AUTHORITY, of By-law 257/2003, be amended by adding thereto the following:

“6.1.1 No person shall willfully or maliciously hinder, or interrupt or cause to be hindered or interrupted any employee or agent of the Town in the exercise of their powers or duties in accordance with this by-law.”

  1. That this by-law shall come into force and take effect following third reading.

By-law read a first and second time this 15th day of November, 2021.

By-law read a third time and passed this 15th day of November, 2021.
