CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PETAWAWA

BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW 313/04
BEING A BY-LAW TO ESTABLISH USER FEES AND SERVICE CHARGES
WHEREAS the user fees and service charges schedule, being Schedule “A” to By-law 313/04, refers to an item called “Zoning Certificate”;
AND WHEREAS Council deems it efficient to rename the item “Compliance Report” instead;
AND WHEREAS Council deems it expedient to update the fee charged for said “Zoning Certificate” now called “Compliance Report”, to reflect the cost to the municipality for processing such reports;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PETAWAWA ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
- That Schedule “A”, USER FEES AND SERVICE CHARGES, attached to By-law 313/04 be amended by removing “Zoning Certificate” and replacing it with “Compliance Report”.
- That Schedule “A”, USER FEES AND SERVICE CHARGES, attached to By-law 313/04 be amended to reflect $100.00 as the fee charged for a Compliance Report.
- That the term “Compliance Report” and fee of “$100.00” contained in Schedule “A”, USER FEES AND SERVICE CHARGES, attached to By-law 313/04 shall come into force and take effect on January 1, 2020.
- That the fee imposed for a “Compliance Report” pursuant to this by-law shall be adjusted annually on January 1, without amendment to this by-law, in accordance with the Statistics Canada Quarterly, Construction Price Statistics, catalogue number 62-007.
- That this by-law shall come into force and take effect following third reading.
