This Woodland loop offers the best of both worlds. Walk along level roads and then take it “off-road” through the main portion of Woodland Trail.

The Woodland Trails are a 30-60 minute trail system through the forest and is excellent for hiking and snowshoeing. There is one large loop, finalized in the fall of 2019, and there are a few small trails to enjoy as well, including a loop extension on the western edge.

Access with parking is off Woodland Crescent by the water tower. An additional access point is located at the end of Sammy Drive. You can also come in off Murphy Road; however, this passes through a marshy area so is better for winter only.
