The Town of Petawawa is committed to the safety and well-being of our community through coordinated fire, police, and emergency response services. The Petawawa Fire Department provides fire suppression, fire rescue operations, prevention programs, and public education to protect lives, property, and the environment. Police services are delivered by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), with local oversight provided through the Petawawa OPP Detachment Board to ensure community priorities and concerns are reflected in policing strategies. Emergency medical response is provided by the County of Renfrew Paramedic Service, delivering pre-hospital care, patient transport and clinical assessments in the region. Together, fire, police, and emergency partners work collaboratively to maintain a safe, prepared, and resilient community for all residents.
